We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Thomas (Alabama District Youth President) as the new director of promotion for UPCI Youth Ministries!

Michael has served the Alabama District Youth Department in multiple leadership capacities. He has exhibited incredible leadership as a sectional youth director, district youth secretary, and district youth president, a position he has held for the last eighteen months. For the past eleven years, he has served at Church on the Rock in Gadsden, Alabama (Pastor Stan Davidson) in many local church roles including evangelism director, youth pastor, hyphen pastor as well as associate pastor. He attended Gateway College of Evangelism/Urshan College and continues his educational pursuits through Hope International University of Fullerton, California.

KFC, FBI, NASA. Any ideas what those letters represent? The first one serves amazing original recipe or crispy chicken in more than just the state of Kentucky thankfully. Hopefully you never come across someone from the FBI because you’d be dealing with a federal agent. If you want to shoot for the stars or land on the moon, you’ll be most interested in the last acronym, NASA.

Acronyms and abbreviations shorten everything up. Nobody’s got time to say “National Aeronautics and Space Administration.” So we use abbreviations and acronyms. What does all this mean do to you? We’re glad you asked.
