Spring! Can somebody say it’s about time?! The thought of pulling all my old spring and summer clothes out of storage tubs makes me so excited. There’s actually a spring in my step as I pull them up from the basement. Somehow they seem lighter than when I took them down at the end of the season.

So let’s talk spring fashion. With spring comes bright colors to match the beautiful sunshine in the sky and flowers blooming around us. With the bright cheery colors we also see a plethora of tank tops, short skirts, and sheer material. For Christian young ladies, modesty along with fashion is very important. The goal is to find ways of mixing style and fashion without compromising modest apparel.

Spring Joy

I woke up early on a spring morning and peeked out the window to see a fresh blanket of snow on our lawn. Three short days earlier, we had one glimpse of spring where birds began warming up their voices, and the sun began stretching out its rays. I even broke out my bike and rode it around town. A few weeks before that, I overheard a conversation betwixt several farmers about seed prices. Cardinal choirs. Sunshine. Seed prices. Can only mean one thing—spring has sprung.

Spring is one of the most pleasant and beautiful seasons. Nature awakens from its winter sleep, and birds which were silent during the winter once again sing their songs! Changing temperatures and blooming flowers are some of the tell-tale signs that spring is fast approaching. To prepare for this season change, we set our clocks forward one hour and shift daylight further into the evening, which allows us to have more light in those evenings to enjoy.

You may be asking, “What does the time change have to do with anything?” Just as we adjust time when the season changes to spring, we have to adjust our lives to continue moving into the new seasons God has planned for our lives.
