27th January

Yes! You heard it. North American Youth Congress is not that far away. And NAYC 17 is chock full of anointed speakers and musicians who will be ministering in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in just a few short months. We’d like you to get to know them before they preach to you and lead you in worship.

Our first interview comes from our first speaker in Indy, our General Youth Division president, Rev. Michael Ensey. So, students, It’s my pleasure to introduce you to your president, Michael Ensey.

InsideOut: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want to have with you and why?
Michael Ensey: I’m going to assume this deserted island doesn’t have any electricity, or surely it wouldn’t be deserted. (Am I taking this question too literal?) So, I would choose:

23rd September

Historic and unprecedented support for the General Youth Division and UPCI youth ministry continues. Tuesday, September 20 was our annual “SFC Call-In Day” for all of our district youth presidents and marked the conclusion of our 2016 SFC offering campaign. It was truly a remarkable day for the cause of missions and ministry. This year’s offering would not have been possible without the great effort and teamwork of the entire General Youth Committee who inspired sectional leaders, pastors, teenagers, young adults, and entire churches to express their faith through incredibly generous and sacrificial giving to #SFC16.

From beginning to end, this has been a life-changing, gospel-moving, ministry-enabling campaign. At our Mid-Winter meeting in January, Oklahoma Youth President Justin Reinking inspired us to believe that a $5 million offering was possible and Pastor Barron Longstreth declared that sacrificial investment opens the … Read More »

I Believe in North American Youth Congress

18th June

Sheaves for Christ (SFC) is the fundraising ministry of the General Youth Division of the United Pentecostal Church International. Since its inception in 1953, over $124 million has been raised to fund missions and ministry around the world. While SFC is very global in its focus and impact, it also has a great impact right here in North America. The General Youth Division and each of our respective ministries would not exist without the investment of local churches through their support of SFC. District youth ministry would cease to exist without that same support. Simply stated, SFC is vital to the current success of UPCI youth ministry and also to the future of our movement.

One the most successful and impacting efforts of the GYD is North American Youth Congress (NAYC), the premier youth conference of the United Pentecostal Church … Read More »

5th June

If seeking after God becomes optional, then living for God will also become optional. We must choose to be a generation that is committed to seeking after God. We are thankful for the following recent report sent in from Iowa youth president, Nate Kennedy.

Every year as Iowa winter ends in May, the Apostolic youth from across our state come together to have their first district event. It began as “UPLINK,” a part of the National Day of Prayer, and has transitioned into becoming the annual Sheaves for Christ district kick-off event. This two day gathering was not only full with services, but we also rented out a bowling center and provided meals for students. This year, General Youth President Michael Ensey preached at the event which brought record numbers. Lives were changed, new commitments were made, and several backsliders were … Read More »
